With nearly two decades of experience, Oremeyi Akah is a hands-on customer success leader specializing in Fintech, payment operations, and customer-centric strategies across emerging markets and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).

Beginning her career as an implementation engineer, she played a pivotal role in establishing ATM and payment card infrastructure for major banks in SSA, earning a reputation for driving results and demonstrating strong business acumen. Her ascent through the ranks has been marked by the development of robust team-building and leadership skills.

Currently, as the Chief Customer Success Officer at Interswitch, She leads the design and implementation of a customer-centric experience blueprint across multiple countries, including Nigeria, Germany, Kenya, and Uganda. She partners with customers to unlock shareholder value and co-leads a transformative cultural initiative focused on enhancing customer and employee experiences.

A board member of SHECAN Nigeria and co-founder of AfricanBuild Africa, she is also an accomplished speaker on Fintech and payments.

She holds an MBA from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and is a certified e-payment trainer. Her career highlights include leading the Verve Advisory Council’s inaugural secretariat and facilitating e-payment certification training for over 300 staff across three countries.
