Pershing Hills Elementary has been in the business of educating young minds since its inception in 2019. Our commitment to the academic success of our children can be seen in the mission and vision of the school. The school has consistently maintained its stance towards quality education by making available world-class learning materials and facilities, highly experienced team members, and a conducive learning environment to aid children’s learning. 

At Pershing Hills Elementary School, we guide our Pupils towards independent and peer-assisted learning. The focus of all our class and school activities is the child. We adopted the mixed grouping system for some of our classes and this has helped to foster friendships, teamwork, respect, and inclusive learning among the pupils.

Like a typical Montessori environment, children are allowed to work and develop at their own pace. Our curriculum as well as our class timetable has been designed in a way that ensures that each child attains the developmental milestones they need to proceed to the next level. 

Unlike the traditional classroom routine, our children are allowed to exhibit their academic, creative and innovative side through various avenues made available to them. The thought process of a child is not only beautiful, it shows you the innocence of these young ones and this further reinforces Maria Montessori’s quote that “The child’s mind is not the type of mind we adults possess. If we call our type of mind the conscious type, that of the child is an unconscious mind. Now an unconscious mind does not mean an inferior mind. An unconscious mind can be full of intelligence. One will find this intelligence in every being, and every insect has it.”

At Pershing Hills Elementary we provide a well-rounded education that prepares our children for the real world. We help them understand the need for constant learning, relearning, and unlearning, we help foster their interest in various activities as we prepare them for real-life challenges and successes and also ensure they are not only self-reliant but self-confident.

In our quest to provide quality education, our curriculum has been strategically developed to provide a holistic programme which is learner-focused, facilitates learning for all, and also churns out globally competent learners.

Our in-curricular and extracurricular activities include swimming, French, Golf, basketball, Soccer, Ballet or Martial Arts, Arts and Crafts, etc. All these activities are geared towards bringing up children with diversified interests.
